Fine overall experience. Well-equipped and clean place with very helpful and amiable staff. Very comfortable building, particularly good location just off the smokey curtained off smallish bar/ restaurant, several eateries where one can buy kottu/rotties/curries and Vavuniya...

The hotel had a marvellous location steps away from Barbican House. The room we had included a work desk, satellite television, and a sitting area.

The hotel is fairly clean and features a friendly and polite staff. Its convenient location, close to Cargills supermarket and several eateries offering kottu, rotties, and curries, is a real plus. For a cozy tea or coffee break, Carafe Coffee Roasters is just around the corner. Guests can also enjoy a huge variety of breakfast options! :).

We enjoyed a nice bedroom during our stay. This hotel is centrally located right in the heart of the city, making it convenient. Plus, it's close to several eateries where you can grab tasty kottu, rotties, and curries. 😋.

rooms were clean and newly renovated. nice bathroom with huge walk-in shower. friendly and helpful staff. great location - a short walk away from the main temple. one service that stood out was the excellent restaurant

Can't recommend Nelly Star highly enough

During our stay at Nelly Star, we were pleased with the comfortable and basic amenities provided. The cable television and air conditioning were a great addition to ensure our stay was enjoyable. , the staff members were kind and friendly, which added to the overall positive experience. While there were a few minor issues, such as a lack of vegetarian options at dinner and the pool not being as clean as expected, we found them to be manageable and did not greatly impact our stay. we would recommend this hotel for a satisfactory stay in Vavuniya.

There were cleanliness issues in certain areas of the hotel, such as the corridors and balcony. Dead bugs were left unattended, giving off a negative impression of the overall ambiance.

The hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The facilities were top-notch, and the service was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and oh-so comfortable. The bathroom, oh my goodness, it was jaw-dropping with its huge walk-in shower. The pool had breathtaking views of the city, and the location was conveniently close to the main temple. Excellent value for money.
